Dear Friends,
This was certainly a year to remember.
The world was faced with one of the most difficult financial challenges most of us can remember, and CRISTA was no exception. It was a significant test for us and impacted every one of our ministries, some more significantly than others. We weathered the storm by staying true to our mission and being one in mind and heart.
One of my biggest responsibilities as CRISTA’s leader is to balance the challenges we face each day with the opportunities we see in the future. Taking on these challenges demands great leadership from all of us. It requires a humble servant leadership that breathes spiritual life into those we lead and serve. We also need highly professional leaders that know their field of expertise and function at a high level. God continues to bring great, devoted people who are making a difference.
A vision for our future has come together through an extensive strategic planning process. This process and its outcomes will guide us in the years to come. We have been doubly blessed with people and financial resources which must be managed well in order to move toward the CRISTA of the future—a CRISTA that focuses on deepening and expanding our impact in transforming the lives of the people we touch each day.
In the past fiscal year, our various ministries labored diligently to do
the work to which God has called us. They all had the same goal—transforming peoples’ lives—but use different means to bring that into fruition. Read on to learn about some of the lives that were impacted
by God’s work through us.
Thank you for all you have done to make the CRISTA Ministries family such a significant part of our community here and around the world.
